With a portion of the money from the sale of Mildred, we bought a trailer.
In the continuing tradition of serendipitous vehicle acquisition, we found it fairly quickly (although there were two wild-goose chases to far-flung locations). I stepped into it and instantly knew it was coming home with me.
So now I have a place to spread out a little, set up my sewing and knitting machines on a more or less permanent basis, and get my craft on. No more moving shit off the dining room table so I can set it for dinner. I've got my own room! Do you know how lucky I am?
And now visitors have a comfy little cat-free nook to sleep in, instead of an Aerobed in the living room. We have a guest house! On wheels! With propane and propane accessories!
Pictures to come*. Right now Dug's out there vacuuming it for me.
Very Cool! I have my reservations for May and June! I am coming with gifts for the Grands too! Especially the little Daisy Mae who is going to be TWO!

It's a 1960 Holly Mascot. It's pretty little--less than 20 feet. It's fucking badass, is how cool it is.
It is bathroom-free. Guests will have to poop in the house, and we'll find a potty chair for grownups for the peeing. But the power works, and there will be teakettles a-go-go.
